Homemade Holiday Ornaments

Yesterday my oldest daughter and I created some homemade Holiday ornaments.  These are super easy to make and smell soooooo good!!  You can use the ornaments to decorate your tree or you can attach them to gifts that you will be giving out.  If you wanted to you could even use them as gift tags.  Simply use puffy paint to write on the tag.
For this recipe you will need:
1c. Ground Cinnamon
1c. Applesauce
1T. Liquid Glue

Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients together and knead into a ball.  The texture should be similar to play-dough.

Next, roll the dough out flat.  I rolled them out to about 1/4 of an inch thick.

Then, use your favorite cookie cutters to cut out the ornaments

Place the ornaments onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.  Use a straw to create a hole at the top of each ornament.  This hole will later be used to string ribbon through.

Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until hard and dry.
Once cooled, you can string ribbon through the hole and add a knot to hang it from.
Warning: These smell really good!!
